Responsibilities

• Communicate, discuss, and direct pre and post event banquet setup needs
• Be hands-on
• Attend meetings, improve processes, and develop relationships
• Deliver on guests’ expectations and have the desire to create WOW moments
• Maintain high standards of service and attention to detail
• Perform additional duties as assigned that may be outside the scope of duties, based on business demands

Requirements

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to collaborate in a team environment
• One year minimum of experience in food and beverage operations within a hotel or resort environment
• Intermediate computer skills
• Luxury hotel experience, a plus
• Ability to grasp, hold, sit, walk, perform repetitive motions, bend over
• Ability to stand and exercise mobility for extended periods during scheduled shift
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and for extended periods during the shift
• Ability to push and pull food serving equipment and carts weighing up to 200 pounds on a semi‑regular basis

Pay

The pay scale for Banquet Captain, Part Time is $16.90 per hour.
