Your Role
- Follow all state and local laws for serving alcohol responsibly (i.e., last call times).
- Prepare drink orders for guests according to specified recipes using measuring systems.
- Replenish beverages when necessary and check with guests to ensure they are satisfied.
- Maintains the cleanliness and condition of the bar, tables, and other tools.
- Follow all setup guidelines.
- Prepare fresh garnishes for drinks.
- Document and immediately communicate any incidents/accidents to management during the shift or event.
- Stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies.
- Requisition all necessary supplies, specifically bottle-for-bottle liquor restock, and transport supplies from the storeroom to the bar set-up area as required.
- Remove soiled wares from the bar top and tables and place them in the designated area.
- Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs promptly, ensuring no shortages through the scheduled function time.
- Issue, open, and serve wine/champagne bottles, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Secure liquors, beers, wines, coolers, cabinets, and storage areas.
- Complete closing duties, including storing all reusable goods, breaking down goods, cleaning all equipment and areas, returning equipment to proper locations, locking refrigerators, restocking items, and completing daily cleaning checklists.
Physical Demands
- Required to use motor coordination with finger dexterity for most of the workday.
- Required to exert physical effort to handle objects over 30 pounds.
- Required to walk or stand for extended periods.
