Bankruptcy Litigation & Restructuring Associate

Key Responsibilities

• Support complex bankruptcy and restructuring matters, including Chapter 11 proceedings and out-of-court workouts
• Represent creditors’ committees, liquidation trustees, receivers, debtors, landlords and creditors
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery and substantive bankruptcy filings
• Participate in court proceedings and contested litigation matters
• Conduct legal research and case analysis
• Collaborate across offices and practice groups on sophisticated restructuring matters

Who You Are

• 3rd–7th year associate
• Experience in bankruptcy or restructuring matters within a law firm environment
• Background in Chapter 11 proceedings and creditor-side representation preferred
• Litigation experience, including depositions and courtroom advocacy
• Strong drafting, research and analytical skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in industry developments
• Strong academic credentials
• Active New York Bar admission required

Compensation

• Salary Range: $250,000 – $360,000 (DOE)
