Banking Specialist IV/Assistant Branch Manager

About the role

The Banking Specialist IV serves as one of the primary new account and loan representatives for the financial center. This key branch supervisory position supports the development of associate knowledge of all Bank products and services and assesses sales and service associates' effectiveness in client conversations, needs alignment, and goal attainment.

The role requires strong client conversation skills using the Bank’s defined strategy, good judgment, and decision-making to balance risk and client experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency in assisting associates to achieve sales and personal/professional growth objectives.
• Support the development of associate knowledge of all Bank products and services.
• Assess associates' effectiveness in initiating conversational discovery, aligning client needs with solutions, and driving client commitment.
• Maintain a sound balance of risk management and client experience through judgment and decision-making.
• Coach, mentor, and motivate staff to create a positive work environment.
• Handle high workloads, competing demands, interruptions, and distractions with poise.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (four-year degree preferred).
• Minimum of three years of relative banking or progressive financial industry experience with an emphasis on consumer lending.
• Four years of demonstrated success in outside sales may substitute for banking experience.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
