Banking Specialist 1

About the Role

Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results-driven, and forward-thinking Bank Equipment Installer to join our team. In this role, you will install, program, system start-up/check-out, certify, and provide customer training on assigned projects, including alarm systems, CCTV, pneumatic drive-ups, ATMs, vaults, and safe deposit boxes. You will be part of a dynamic team that supports your growth as Convergint expands.

Responsibilities

• Act as "our customer’s best service provider" to ensure Convergint remains the customer’s first choice for service.
• Install, program, test, repair, and service a variety of non-routine systems and equipment, including security, fire alarm, and life safety systems.
• Serve as a key interface for technical support and training for customers, maximizing customer satisfaction.
• Complete accurate and detailed service reports for customers and Convergint in a timely manner to ensure accurate invoicing and job cost tracking.
• Participate in the Recruit Awesome People program to help grow Convergint by promoting our colleague-first culture and referring top talent.

Requirements

• Exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure; proactive in meeting customer needs.
• Willingness to learn technical skills related to fire alarm systems and/or electronic security systems.
• Self-starter who works well with minimal direct supervision.
• Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude (e.g., experience with hand and power tools such as drills, screwdrivers, wire strippers, hacksaws, and crimpers).
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to travel locally to job sites regularly; minimal overnight travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED, or equivalent experience.
• Preferred (but not required): 1-3 years of relevant field service experience.

• Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
