About the Role
Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results-driven, and forward-thinking Bank Equipment Installer to join our team. In this role, you will install, program, system start-up/check-out, certify, and provide customer training on assigned projects, including alarm systems, CCTV, pneumatic drive-ups, ATMs, vaults, and safe deposit boxes. You must have good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities
- Act as “our customer’s best service provider” at all times, ensuring Convergint is the customer’s first choice for service.
- Install, program, test, repair, and service a variety of non-routine systems and equipment, including security, fire alarm, and life safety systems.
- Serve as a key interface for technical support and training for customers, maximizing customer satisfaction.
- Complete accurate and detailed service reports for customers and Convergint in a timely manner to allow for accurate invoicing and job cost tracking.
- Participate in our Recruit Awesome People program to help grow Convergint by promoting our colleague-first culture and referring top talent.
Requirements
- Exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure; ability to anticipate and meet customer needs.
- Willingness to learn technical skills related to fire alarm systems and/or electronic security systems.
- Self-starter who works well with direct supervision.
- Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude (e.g., experience with hand and power tools such as drills, screwdrivers, wire strippers, hacksaws, and crimpers).
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to travel locally to job sites regularly; minimal overnight travel may be required.
Qualifications
Education: High School/GED or equivalent experience.
Preferred Experience (but not required): 1-3 years of relevant field service.
