Responsible for directing and administering the operational efforts of the banking center. Ensures established policies and procedures are followed, oversees provision of services to customers, and supervises lobby and teller staff.
Responsibilities
- Assumes responsibility for the effective and efficient performance of banking center operations, including work scheduling and workflow of daily routine operations.
- Ensures banking center security by following all security procedures and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Completes weekly logs and meets monthly and quarterly audit requirements.
- Supervises and assists with customer service functions, including new accounts and teller line support as needed.
- Cross-sells Bank services and implements changes to established policies and procedures within the banking center.
- Maintains proper cash controls, ensuring all transactions are balanced daily and handling deposits according to policies.
- Periodically verifies cash in possession of Tellers and on the premises.
- Supervises banking center staff, providing leadership through objective setting, communication, and performance appraisals.
- Conducts regular meetings, training, and orientation for new employees, including security and cross-training.
- Approves leave, overtime, and time sheets, and maintains accurate payroll and attendance records.
- Ensures customer requests and complaints are promptly resolved and maintains professional business relations.
- Counsels customers on financial needs and Bank services, ensuring the Bank’s quality reputation is upheld.
- Administers banking center functions, including coordinating operations, managing expenses, and pursuing cost-saving measures.
- Establishes sales goals and incentives aligned with Bank objectives and directs staff participation in these plans.
- Prepares periodic activity reports and recommends improvements to management.
- Ensures proper maintenance of the building, grounds, equipment, and supplies, including safety measures.
- Keeps management informed of banking center activities, progress, and significant problems.
- Fills in for banking center positions as needed and attends assigned training sessions.
Performance Measurements
- Banking center services are delivered efficiently and in accordance with Bank policies and standards.
- Customer accounts are maintained or expanded, and new accounts are solicited.
- Strong business relationships are maintained with customers, and their questions or problems are resolved promptly.
- Banking center personnel are well-trained, efficient, and their activities are well-coordinated.
- Required reports and records are accurate and submitted on time.
- Management is informed of area activities and significant problems, with suggestions for improved efficiency.
- Positive working relationships exist with banking center personnel, and assistance is provided as needed.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Leads and manages the team through consistent training, development, and coaching.

Requirements
- Associate degree in business or a related field, or an equivalent combination of training and work experience.
- Minimum three years of related experience in a financial institution, with at least two years of supervisory experience.
- Thorough knowledge of Bank services, products, and related legal and regulatory requirements.
- Familiarity with branch functions, policies, and procedures.
Skills

- Effective communication skills, including conveying detailed instructions and conducting training or professional presentations.
- Ability to compute financial calculations such as discount, interest, profit and loss, commission, markup, and percentage.

Schedule
Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM // Saturday: as needed
