Banking Center Manager - Flushing

About the role

This position is 100% in office. The employee will work full time in an office in a designated WesBanco location. Consideration for location will be Flushing Banking Center.

Responsibilities

• Personalizes the work environment to inspire, motivate, challenge, support and recognize exceptional performance.
• Leads relationship building efforts and efficient operations of a full-service banking center.
• Trains and develops staff to provide excellent customer service.
• Directs sales and service initiatives, interacts with customers, discusses banking needs, and conducts outside sales efforts.
• Serves existing and prospective customers, works with business partners, and participates in community service.
• Oversees operational aspects such as audits, reports, cash management, and security.
• Hires, supervises, trains, and coaches staff to achieve sales and operational objectives.
• Communicates goals, sets priorities, delegates responsibilities, and evaluates performance.
• Manages sales and staff meetings, prepares performance evaluations, and recommends salary increases and promotions.
• Represents the bank in community service and participates in local service clubs and organizations.
• Provides customer service, resolves issues, and builds relationships with internal and external partners.
• Ensures adherence to policies and procedures, maintains security, and educates staff on policies and procedures.
• Works all hours of operations and possesses extensive product knowledge and strong consumer/lending skills.

Requirements

• High School Diploma Required.
• Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
• Supervisory or proven leadership experience required.
• Two years of related experience in banking, cash handling, sales, and customer service.
• Strong consumer lending skills, including the ability to review financial statements and tax returns.
• Proven ability to generate new financial relationships through outbound calling, outside business development, and building a referral network.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
