About the role

The Licensed Relationship Banker is a trusted advisor responsible for delivering exceptional client service, deepening relationships, and driving branch growth through consultative guidance.

Responsibilities

• Manage and expand a client portfolio by fostering existing relationships and acquiring new clients.
• Engage clients in person and via phone to understand their financial goals and recommend tailored banking and investment solutions.
• Understand clients’ financial situations, needs, and goals to provide personalized product recommendations, including credit, deposits, investments, and insurance.
• Open and service accounts, support digital banking adoption, and process credit requests; refer complex needs to specialists.
• Drive growth through deposits, loans, investments, and fee income, collaborating with cross-functional teams for integrated service delivery.
• Build a client pipeline through outreach, appointments, and follow-up, while educating clients on digital tools and financial wellness.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory policies, operate within risk parameters, and maintain all required registrations.
• Participate in community activities, team training, and support branch operational goals, modeling collaboration and company values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree or military experience preferred.
• 5-10 years of retail banking or financial services experience with a proven results track record.
• Active FINRA Series 6 and 63 registrations required; compliance with S.A.F.E. Act, background checks, and ongoing training necessary.

Skills

• Strong communication, listening, and problem-solving skills, with a client-first mindset.
• Ability to present products confidently, tailor solutions, and educate clients on technology.
• Quick learner of bank products and systems; proficiency with CRM and office software.
• Flexible to support branch hours and potentially nearby branches.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
