About the role
The Licensed Relationship Banker is a trusted advisor responsible for delivering exceptional client service, deepening relationships, and driving branch growth through consultative guidance.
Responsibilities
- Manage and expand a client portfolio by nurturing existing relationships and acquiring new clients.
- Engage clients in person and by phone to understand their financial goals and recommend tailored banking, investment, and insurance solutions, partnering with internal specialists.
- Open, service, and support accounts, including digital banking enrollment, and process consumer credit requests.
- Drive growth through deposits, loans, investments, and fee income while ensuring operational excellence and compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver a seamless client experience.
- Educate clients on digital tools, monitor portfolios, and resolve client inquiries and issues promptly.
- Maintain regulatory compliance, participate in community activities, and support team goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; college or military experience preferred.
- 5-10 years in retail banking, financial services, or sales roles with proven results.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and consultative skills; client-first mindset.
- Ability to quickly learn banking products, systems, and procedures; proficiency with CRM and office software.
- Active FINRA Series 6 and 63 registrations required; additional registrations like NMLS or Notary may be preferred.
- Flexibility to work branch hours, including Saturdays, and support nearby branches.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
- Compliance with background checks, S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act, and ongoing training are mandatory.
