Bakery Line Helper

About the role

Lunds & Byerlys Mitchell Road is hiring self‑directed and outgoing Bakery Line Helpers to produce high‑quality bakery products for customers. The position is full‑time, working primarily 3:00 pm–11:00 pm Monday‑Friday with weekends off, in a 24‑hour, 365‑day‑a‑year manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

• Full range of bakery activities including applying base icing, wrapping products, and packaging orders
• Ensuring productive workflow
• Ensuring completion of production paperwork for compliance
• Creating a welcoming and safe environment
• Maintaining a clean and safe work area

Requirements

• Ability to operate machinery, multi‑task, interpret and follow precise instructions
• Commitment to comply with USDA, FDA, OSHA, AIB and other regulatory agencies while following good manufacturing practices
• Manufacturing experience preferred

Pay

Competitive hourly wage range of $20.00–$23.00 per hour. The actual rate offered within the range may depend on skills, knowledge, expertise, and experience, with internal equity considered; hiring at the top of the range is not typical.

Schedule

Full‑time schedule with expected availability around 3:00 pm–11:00 pm Monday‑Friday; Saturdays and Sundays are off. The facility operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
