About the Role

Call Your Mother is the Jew-ish deli where Boca meets Brooklyn, grandma-level hospitality meets seriously good bagel sandwiches, and hard work meets face-melting vibes. Husband-and-wife team Andrew and Chef Dani built Call Your Mother around one simple idea: people deserve incredible food made by people who give an F. How You'll Spend Your Day

No two production shifts are exactly alike, but you might:

• Mix, shape, proof, bake, and finish bagels, pastries, and seasonal baked goods
• Prepare spreads, sauces, dressings, proteins, and other house-made ingredients following recipes and production schedules
• Prep, portion, package, label, and store products for delivery to our shops
• Monitor product quality to ensure everything leaving the commissary meets CYM standards
• Keep workstations, equipment, and production areas clean, organized, and food safe
• Follow food safety, sanitation, allergen, and health department standards every step of the way
• Communicate inventory shortages, equipment issues, waste, or quality concerns to leadership
• Learn new production stations and continuously build your skills
• Support teammates, help train new hires, and pitch in wherever the team needs you most

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in food production, baking, prep cooking, or another fast-paced kitchen environment
• Ability to safely wield a knife, follow recipes, stay organized, and take pride in producing consistently great food
• Ability to see, hear, speak, read, and communicate effectively
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, and perform repetitive physical movements
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to safely operate equipment and tools using manual dexterity
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment around hot equipment, sharp tools, and varying temperatures
• Ability to occasionally work in confined spaces
