About the role

Baker within a Food Services Team, responsible for preparing baked goods according to recipes and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Bakes and preps a variety of foods following standardized recipes and production guidelines.
• Sets up workstation with ingredients and equipment, measures, mixes, and prepares ingredients.
• Operates kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, and mixers safely.
• Stores food properly, adheres to food safety policies, and maintains cleanliness of work areas and utensils.
• Provides excellent customer service and maintains a positive attitude.
• Follows safety and sanitation procedures, ensuring asset security.

Requirements

• Experience as a baker or related role preferred.
• Knowledge of baking techniques, food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling.
• Ability to obtain necessary food safety certifications.
• Basic math, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to lift, bend, stand, and perform related tasks; may require PPE usage.

Pay

Compensation ranges from $17.00 to $21.00 per hour.
