About the role

At Bruegger’s Bagels, our Baker is the heart of our bakery, arriving early to kettle-cook our signature New York-style bagels. You’ll be the first in the store, setting the tone for the day by ensuring quality product is always available—stocking the bagel wall, pastry case, and assisting with guest service, sandwich making, and maintaining a clean, safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Bake and prepare bagels and other bakery items to ensure quality product availability each shift
• Stock the bagel wall and pastry case
• Assist with order taking, sandwich making, and guest service
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment
• Work collaboratively with the team to uphold food and beverage quality standards

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years or older
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to work varied hours/days, including early mornings (as early as 3am), weekends, and holidays as business dictates
• Must pass a background check in accordance with local, state, and federal law
• Possession of a current, valid, state-issued driver’s license (required at specific locations only)
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, lift, and move intermittently during working hours (reasonable accommodations may be made)

Pay

Hourly rate: $14.57 - $21.86 per hour. Starting pay is subject to local and state minimum wage regulations. Ranges reflect the employer’s reasonable and good-faith expectations for the position.

Schedule

Stores close at 2pm daily. Shifts may start as early as 3am and include weekends and holidays based on business needs.
