About the role

At Bruegger’s Bagels, our Baker is the heart of our bakery, arriving early to kettle-cook our signature New York-style bagels. You’ll be the first in the store (as early as 3 AM), setting the tone for the day by ensuring quality product is stocked and ready for guests. Beyond baking, you’ll work as part of a team to provide excellent guest service—taking orders, making sandwiches, and maintaining a clean, safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Bake and prepare bagels and pastries to ensure quality product availability each shift
• Stock the bagel wall and pastry case
• Assist with order taking, sandwich making, and other guest service tasks
• Maintain a clean and safe store environment
• Work varied hours/days, including early mornings (as early as 3 AM) and weekends

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years or older
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work varied hours/days, including early mornings and weekends
• Must pass a background check as required by local, state, and federal law
• Possession of a current, valid, state-issued driver’s license (preferred but only required at specific locations)

Pay

Hourly rate: $14.57 – $21.86 per hour. Starting pay is subject to local and state minimum wage regulations. Ranges reflect what the employer reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position.
