About the role
We are seeking a Bagger/Material Handler to join our team in Adell, WI. This role supports packaging, inventory management, and shipping/receiving operations in a warehouse environment to supply our production plant safely, accurately, and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Operate bagging equipment in accordance with established procedures, specifications, and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate packaging, coding, tagging, and labeling of finished products per guidelines.
- Maintain accurate production/packaging records for efficiency, quality, and inventory control.
- Obtain sanitary pallet samples for quality control in compliance with procedures.
- Perform weight accuracy checks as established by procedures.
- Operate forklift safely and efficiently, recording operational status on daily checklists.
- Report equipment or quality problems to production management, quality control, and maintenance.
- Clean and perform CIP (Clean-In-Place) of equipment and work areas as required.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and assist maintenance in repairs.
- Stage product for the Lactose bagging team, weigh skids, and assist with bulk loading of trucks.
- Communicate material defects, inventory discrepancies, or safety issues to supervisors or front office staff.
- Perform cycle counts according to SOP or as instructed by management.
- Load (shipping) and unload (receiving) shipments:
- Shipping: Assemble, stage, and load shipments based on Pick Notes (item, lot, location, quantity). Complete and deliver required paperwork.
- Receiving: Inspect inventory and trailers, unload per SOP, validate quantities against paperwork (BOL, Packing List, Pick Note), pull samples, put-away inventory, and deliver completed paperwork to the office.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of previous manufacturing experience.
- Ability to perform mathematical equations (e.g., total pallet weight, bags, tags, labels, weight conversions).
- Ability to repeatedly lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand and walk continually during shift.
- Problem-solving skills related to operations, quality, equipment maintenance, and process flow.
- Experience operating a forklift.
- Good math, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.

Pay
$26.08 per hour USD + $0.50 shift differential. $3,000 sign-on bonus.
Schedule
Rotational Night Shift, 6:00 PM–6:00 AM: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday one week and Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday the opposite week.
