Material Handler - Night Shift

How You Will Contribute

• Material Handlers safely and efficiently operate forklifts to transport, stack, or store materials between or within departments;
• must unload trucks and use hoists and other equipment;
• are knowledgeable about materials and part numbers;
• support factory operations by coordinating delivery of materials, parts, jigs, fixtures, dies, and supplies to manufacturing and service areas.
• Assists other departments whenever possible.
• Responsible for daily inspection of material handling equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Requirements

• Ability to operate forklifts efficiently and safely
• Understand and utilize safe working habits
• Able to read blueprints
• Willingness to work with multiple departments
• Self-starting, self-motivated (Preferred)
• Prior material handling experience
• Extensive experience operating fork lifts

Working Conditions

• Ability to lift/push up to 50 lbs.
• Bending, lifting, and standing
• Exposure to noise and weld and grinding smoke at times
