Essential Functions

• Aids in clearing jams from the baggage handling system.
• Assists technicians or other personnel with basic maintenance tasks such as sweeping, cleaning, and greasing.
• Completes all safety training as assigned by the Company.
• Complies with all ELS safety programs, policies, and procedures.
• Performs additional duties and assignments as required by management.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous work experience in an airport environment.

Physical Demands

• Lift/Carry: Stand frequently, Sit occasionally, Handle/Finger frequently, Reach Outward frequently, Reach Above Shoulder occasionally, Climb/Balance frequently, Squat/Stoop occasionally, Bend/Kneel occasionally.
• Push/Pull: 10 lbs or less frequently, 11-20 lbs frequently, 21-50 lbs frequently, 51+ lbs occasionally.
• Drive: Infrequently.
• Other Physical Requirements: Vision (Near, Distance), Hearing.

Work Environment

• Works in all areas located on Airport property.
• May be around dust, dirt, moving machinery, temperature changes, heights, and noise levels below OSHA minimum requirements.
• Use of PPE is required.
