Bacterial Production Team Leader - ABI Process Team

Position Responsibilities

Looking for a people-focused leader, to lead our Bacterial manufacturing processing areas.

• Recruit, lead, coach and retain a high performing operations team (~ 15 - 18 direct reports).
• Set the tone for the area to maintain an effective and engaged manufacturing group.
• Effectively manage the day-to-day operations, ensuring all processes run safely, smoothly, and efficiently.
• Investigate process excursions/deviations and production issues utilizing six sigma tools to ensure corrective actions are identified and implemented to eliminate the root cause of the problem.
• Strategize: design reporting standards for operational metrics and process KPIs to drive operational efficiencies and employee experiences.
• Work cross-functionally with multiple teams to ensure your area delivers the highest quality of viral antigens and provide your team with the tools, resources and support needed to achieve their goals.
• Takes the manufacturing lead role in the coordination, document preparation, and introduction of new production processes as well as site to site transfers.
• Maintains state of the art competence on technological developments within area of responsibility and recommends equipment and/or process enhancements that will provide improved efficiency, safety, and a competitive advantage.

Physical Position Requirements

Exposure to chemicals, fumes, odors, noise, live steam, temperature fluctuations, and biohazards: All of which Zoetis makes as safe as possible for colleagues. In addition, prolonged sitting, continuous standing and lifting to a maximum of 50 lbs.
