Backend C2 Systems Full Stack Developer
About the role
This role is for a seasoned full stack developer who can build software and systems from vision to production-ready. You will lead a team and help clients solve complex challenges using the latest technologies.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain backend and services systems
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases
- Develop and manage frontend applications
- Implement automated testing and CI/CD pipelines
- Ensure solutions consider current architecture and future enhancements
- Collaborate with clients to understand mission and reliability requirements
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in software development
- Experience with server-side languages like Java, .NET, C#, Python, or Go
- Experience with message or streaming platforms like Kafka
- Experience with containerization
- Experience with frontend technologies like React
- Experience with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized deployment
- Ability to translate mission and reliability requirements into scalable, resilient service designs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a technology field, or 6+ years of experience in mission systems in lieu of a degree
Skills
- Experience with event-driven architecture and distributed system patterns
- Experience with cloud-native development on AWS or Kubernetes
- Experience implementing a secure SDLC
- Experience with C2, ISR, or other mission-critical DoD systems
- Experience with API gateways, service mesh, and inter-service security
- Experience with observability for distributed services

Pay
The projected compensation range for this position is $112,900.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD).
Schedule
Employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs. The work model includes options for remote, hybrid, and onsite work.
