Full Stack/Backend Engineer

About the role

Daemo AI is an intelligence platform serving middle-market and enterprise clients. The Full Stack Engineer owns the entire stack, including real-time data pipelines, language model summarization engines, and the user-facing web portal.

Responsibilities

• Leverage TypeScript, Python, SQL/MongoDB, Bash/Shell, and Rust for full stack development.
• Work with Next.js, React, Tailwind CSS, NextAuth.js, Node.js, MongoDB Atlas, Docker, and AWS services.
• Develop and maintain asynchronous/concurrent systems and data pipelines.
• Handle web scraping at scale, including anti-bot evasion and sourcing from government/political entities.
• Implement real-time streaming for agent responses and manage multi-stage production debugging.
• Ensure multi-tenant security and implement prompt engineering for summarization, personas, and research agents.
• Design and integrate AI/LLM APIs, such as chat completions, tool/function calling, and streaming.
• Evaluate and improve AI outputs, focusing on hallucination detection and guardrails.

Requirements

• Expert-level proficiency in TypeScript, Python, and Rust.
• Proficiency in SQL/MongoDB, Bash/Shell scripting, and Docker.
• Experience with Next.js, React, and AWS services like EC2, S3, and Cloudflare.
• Knowledge of NextAuth.js, Node.js, and MongoDB Atlas.
• Experience with web scraping tools like Playwright and BeautifulSoup.
• Understanding of real-time streaming technologies like SSE/WebSockets.
• Experience with multi-tenant security and access control.
• Ability to handle large-scale data ingestion using Google BigQuery.
• Experience with Redis for caching, job queuing, and pub/sub.
• Knowledge of Signal CLI for secure messaging on Linux EC2.
• Experience with multi-provider LLM routing and embedding/vector search.
• Experience with automated briefing pipelines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Rust for core system development.
• Experience with AWS Bedrock and Claude 3.x families.
• Experience with AWS services like EC2, S3, and Cloudflare.
• Experience with Google BigQuery for large-scale data ingestion.
• Experience with Redis for caching and job queuing.
• Experience with Signal CLI for secure messaging.
• Experience with multi-provider LLM routing and embedding/vector search.
