Job Summary
Mission Yogurt is seeking a BOH Manager for Root Down, located in the Denver International Airport.
About the Role
The BOH Manager leads all back-of-house operations, including food quality, kitchen team performance, inventory management, food safety compliance, and labor control. This role works closely with the restaurant leadership team to ensure efficient kitchen operations, exceptional guest experiences, and a positive, high-performing work environment.
Responsibilities
- Help in the preparation and design of all food and drinks menus
- Produce high-quality plates in both presentation and taste
- Ensure the kitchen operates in a timely way that meets quality standards
- Fill in for the Executive Chef in planning and directing food preparation when necessary
- Resourcefully solve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situation
- Manage and train kitchen staff, establish working schedule, and assess staff’s performance
- Order supplies to stock inventory appropriately
- Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards, including Health inspections
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Requirements
- Possess at least two years of restaurant management experience
- Deliver superior food and beverage service and maximize customer satisfaction

- Adhere to safety, sanitation, and cleanliness policies and practices
- Achieve and maintain all operating and quality standards

Qualifications
- Pass a 10-year background check per TSA guidelines

- Candidates who possess at least two years of restaurant management experience

Physical Requirements
- Must be able to work on your feet for up to 12 hours
- Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching overhead, and lifting products and supplies weighing 20 pounds, and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds, as well as repetitive hand and wrist motion
