Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Service Department to ensure a high level of parts support.
- Research, source, and price parts for service repairs.
- Determine parts needs using literature, computer programs, and parts knowledge.
- Pull parts and stage them for service technicians and customers.
- Maintain knowledge of products, services, parts, and associated costs.
- Complete all necessary paperwork for each transaction accurately and timely.
- Provide relief for front counter parts members, including responding to customers in person or by telephone, and providing quotes or estimates.
- Process credits, make adjustments, and monitor restocking charges on all parts sales.
- Perform shipping/receiving and warehouse duties as assigned.
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts (training available).
Requirements
- Self-motivation and assertive drive.
- Ability to perform at a high level in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication skills (telephone, email, and in-person) to sell company parts and services.
- Parts Department and invoicing experience preferred.
- Above-average organizational skills.
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suites, with the ability to learn new programs quickly.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Pay
$21.19–$29.66 per hour, depending on experience.
