About the Role
A Back Aisle Attendant prepares the back service area for banquet functions by collaborating with Banquet associates to provide necessary equipment and service support. This role ensures smooth event execution by organizing equipment according to the Banquet Event Order and the Banquet Captain's requirements.
Responsibilities
- Organize equipment based on the Banquet Event Order (BEO) and instructions from the Captain or Chef.
- Respond promptly to requests to replenish food items, china, glassware, silverware, and linen supplies.
- Safely transport food, dishes, utensils, and other necessary items from kitchen areas to event locations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service aisles and equipment throughout events.
- Assist in clearing dirty dishes and returning them to the kitchen as needed.
- Support Banquet service staff to ensure prompt delivery of food and beverages at appropriate temperatures.
- Thoroughly clean and clear breakdown tables, and properly dispose of all trash from the event area.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down functions, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.
- Communicate special equipment requirements to the Banquet Manager or Stewarding Manager.
Requirements
- Ability to push, pull, lift, and move items weighing up to 50 pounds for short periods of time.
- Valid driver’s license for operating golf carts, if required.
