About The Role
This is a remote role that can be based anywhere in the United States. Seeking a B2B Media Senior Account Executive with expertise in driving revenue for a brand in the CPG & retail industry including events, digital media, and sponsored custom content. The ideal candidate will have experience selling events, media and marketing programs to savvy clients. Sales will be driven by a consultative or needs-based approach providing accounts with solutions to business growth and marketing challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Consultative Selling: Lead discovery sessions with key clients and stakeholders to uncover gaps in their go-to-market strategy.
- Pipeline Management: Accurately forecast monthly and quarterly revenue while maintaining CRM integrity (Launchpad) to achieve growth goals.
- Industry Representation: Attend key industry events to develop new business and manage existing relationships, traveling approximately 20% of the time.
- Market Intelligence: Maintain a deep understanding of assigned brands, audience positioning, and the competitive landscape.
Position Requirements
- Experience: 3+ years of success selling B2B integrated media and event solutions to c-suite clients.
- Proven Track Record: Successful history of exceeding sales targets and managing client relationships.
- Business Development & Prospecting: A proactive hunter with a proven ability to independently identify, prospect, and secure new client accounts.
- Technical Aptitude: Uses CRM and sales dashboards to track deal progress and pinpoint untapped market opportunities.
- Digital Proficiency: Strong understanding of digital analytics and audience metrics to identify pre-sale opportunities and communicate post-sale performance to clients.
- Communication & Organization: Highly organized with exceptional follow-through and strong verbal/written communication skills.
- Self Starter: A self-motivated individual with a strong internal engine who doesn't wait for a playbook to take action, solve problems, or optimize processes.
