Azure Cloud SME

Responsibilities

• Migrate on-premises workloads to the cloud (Lift & Shift, Re-platforming, Re-architecting)
• Build and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM templates / Bicep, Terraform
• Experience with Networking (VNet, VPN, ExpressRoute, Load Balancers)
• Identity management (Azure AD / Entra ID)
• Disaster Recovery (Azure Backup, Site Recovery)
• Hands-on experience with scripting: PowerShell / Azure CLI
• Implement Azure security best practices: Azure Active Directory (Entra ID), Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Key Vault, Defender for Cloud, Sentinel
• Integrate CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions
• Automate deployments, monitoring, and scaling
• Implement containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes (AKS)
• Optimize cloud cost using cost management tools and best practices

Requirements

• Technical/Functional Skills Experience in cloud migration or modernization projects
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure services including Azure Virtual Machines, App Services, AKS, Azure Storage (Blob, File, Queue), Azure SQL, Cosmos DB
• Experience with networking (VNet, VPN, ExpressRoute, Load Balancers)
• Experience with identity management (Azure AD / Entra ID)
• Experience with disaster recovery (Azure Backup, Site Recovery)
• Experience with scripting: PowerShell / Azure CLI

Pay

Salary Range: $130,000- $135,000 a year
