AWS Sales Manager, EdTech
About the role
Lead an ISV sales team focused on transforming education alongside the most prominent ISV companies in the global Education market. Our EdTech ISV sales team supports the largest and most impactful Education Technology companies in the world as they strive to transform learning experiences and outcomes through application of AI and emerging technologies. You will manage a team of AWS Account Managers selling into a named set of enterprise EdTech ISV customers to drive growth and innovation. This leader will be responsible for driving revenue, customer success, and cloud adoption through high-touch engagement, executive sponsorship, and ecosystem development.
In this role, you’ll shape our go-to-market strategy, coach and grow a high-performing sales team, and collaborate across AWS business development, solution architecture, marketing, and partner teams to deliver exceptional outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Build, lead, and inspire a field sales team supporting enterprise EdTech ISV companies
- Own the full talent lifecycle for your team, including performance management, pipeline development, and career growth
- Engage directly with customers, CxOs, boards, AWS Partners, and key customer stakeholders to support your team's success in driving AI, cloud, and technology strategies in their accounts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Solutions Architecture, Business Development, Marketing, Partners, Training) to align on customer acquisition, growth, and success plans
- Guide ongoing strategic account planning and execution to deliver revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and adoption milestones
- Develop executive relationships with key customers and deliver business reviews with AWS senior leadership
- Identify new go-to-market opportunities and develop mechanisms to accelerate time-to-value for customers
Requirements
- 7+ years of technology related sales, business development or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of sales management experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Experience working with a matrixed team of stakeholders to achieve a common goal
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing time efficiently, scaling your impact with the use of AI tools, and success hiring and developing high performing sales professionals

Pay
Base salary range: $157,100 - $212,600 USD annually (USA, TX, Austin). Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and sales incentives. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
