Key Responsibilities
- Design and deploy secure, scalable AWS infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, and AWS CDK
- Automate provisioning/configuration with GitHub Actions and Jenkins
- Implement and manage security controls (IAM, encryption, least privilege)
- Integrate AWS security tools such as WAF, GuardDuty, Inspector, Security Hub, and FortiGate
- Configure and troubleshoot cloud networking (VPNs, Transit Gateway, routing)
- Support CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with app dev teams (Java, Node.js, Python)
- Lead technical cloud projects and manage delivery timelines
- Develop backup, DR, and cost optimization strategies
- Participate in on-call rotation for security and production events
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in IT or 8–10+ years of IT experience
- 5+ years of hands-on AWS engineering experience
- Strong expertise in IaC, Linux, and cloud security frameworks (CIS/NIST)
- Experience with Windows Server, M365, and Entra ID; Azure exposure a plus
- Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills
