About the Role
The AWS Infrastructure Developer designs, deploys, and manages AWS infrastructure architectures to support operational capabilities and data processing.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement AWS networking, compute (EC2, ECS, Lambda), and security configurations.
- Manage network segmentation, security groups, NACLs, routing policies, and IAM policies to ensure security compliance.
- Utilize orchestration systems like Kubernetes or Nomad for container and workload management.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure performance, connectivity, and security issues impacting operations.
Requirements
- Extensive hands-on experience (minimum 4 years) with AWS infrastructure engineering.
- Expertise in AWS networking services (VPC, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, Route 53) and compute services.
- Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure-as-code and experience with orchestration tools outside AWS.
- Knowledge of AWS security best practices and compliance frameworks.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph and U.S. citizenship.
- Ability to remain stationary, communicate effectively, and occasionally move within the office environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Security, or Advanced Networking certifications.
- Experience with hybrid cloud architectures, AWS GovCloud, or multi-account strategies.
