Pay
- Entry rate starting at $19.00 per hour
- $500.00 Sign-On Bonus for Full-Time Direct Care position paid out at 6 months
- $1,000 Bonus after successful completion of Essential Skills Training within the first 90 days

Responsibilities
- Provide overnight safety and around-the-clock supervision for residential youth
- Promote a professional and supportive atmosphere
- Monitor and document youth behaviors and actions
- Participate in and assist with educational and recreational activities
- Collaborate with other departments to establish and meet the goals of each youth’s treatment plan
Requirements
- Demonstrate empathy, patience, respect, and a genuine desire to work with troubled teens
- Be at least 21 years old
- Pass a criminal background check, drug screening, physical exam, and TB test
- Possess a current State Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record for the past three years
- Have relevant life experience in child welfare, mental health, or juvenile justice, either as a mentor or caregiver
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, or
- Valid Child Development Teaching Permit, or
- 12 semester units in Early Childhood Education, Adolescent Development, or Psychology, or
- Certification as an Alcohol or Drug Counselor, or
- One year of full-time experience in a group home, therapeutic program, or substance abuse treatment program
Schedule
- A Shift: Sunday - Wednesday, 10:00 pm - 8:00 am
- B Shift: Wednesday - Saturday, 10:00 pm - 8:00 am
