AVP / VP, Relationship Manager - Corporate Banking (Japanese bilingual)

Responsibilities

• Formulates and implements a business development plan and calling schedule for each client or prospect following the Bank’s business development strategy.
• Identifies business opportunities and solicits referrals from other business segments.
• Researches market area including relevant industries as part of development and implementation of an overall marketing plan.
• Maintains close contact with existing customers; calls on existing or prospective clients and meets with their financial officer(s).
• Presents a range of corporate banking product solutions to meet client needs and closes sales.
• Provides responsive, quality service.
• May be assigned to geographic areas and/or specific services.
• Approves transactions within delegated authority.
• Manages overall relationship profitability and portfolio risk.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand policies and procedures written in Japanese and English.
• Analytical skills.
• Time management skills.
• Attention to detail and goal oriented.
• Interpersonal skills.
• MS Office Requirements.
• Bachelor or higher degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or Economics required.
• Working experience in banking industry is a plus.
• Bilingual Japanese - English.

Benefits

The expected base salary ranges from $120,000 - $150,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, including Medical, Dental and 401K plans, successful candidates are also eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
