AVP Supply Chain Americas

dormakaba is seeking an AVP Supply Chain Americas based in Indianapolis, IN. This role provides strategic and operational leadership for all regional supply chain functions across manufacturing plants in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Responsibilities

• Translate global and regional supply chain strategies, policies, and standards into actionable and harmonized plans tailored to the operational, regulatory, and customer requirements of the manufacturing plants across the Americas Hub (U.S., Canada, and Mexico).
• Lead the end-to-end Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process across the Americas manufacturing plants, ensuring cross-functional alignment among Production, Procurement, Sales, Finance, and Logistics to develop integrated and balanced demand, supply, and financial plans tailored to each plant’s operational context.
• Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Product Management teams throughout the Americas to generate and sustain reliable, data-informed demand forecasts that guide production planning, streamline inventory management, and support timely, consistent customer deliveries across all manufacturing locations.
• Optimize production, capacity, and inventory planning across the Americas manufacturing plants to align with forecasted demand, while proactively identifying and mitigating risks related to material availability, capacity constraints, labor resources, and cross-border dependencies.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Sales & Operations Planning, Demand Planning, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field.

Qualifications

• SAP ERP System Expertise, SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) experience.
• Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent).
• American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS) or Institute of Business Forecasting & Planning (IBF) certification.

Pay

Base Salary $195,000 - $205,000 plus additional incentive compensation. Salary to be determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
