Responsibilities
- Manage GMP's primary partners overseeing, governance, SLA performance, vendor resilience, and audit
- Serve as the subject matter expert on projects with operational impact, while ensuring alignment with third-party administrator and internal teams
- Provide requirements and execute UAT testing
- Accountable for validating the accuracy and integrity of transactions related to contracts, refunds, and claim payments across the GMP product portfolio
- Execute and continuously improve core business operations processes including governance over dealer advances, walkaway recovery payments, VBARs payment processing, and GMP Dividend payments
- Lead continuous improvement, implementation of controls and automation initiatives across the GM Protection teams
- Coach, mentor and train team members to establish a consistent level of quality, accuracy, accountability and compliance of department standards
Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of corporate functions such as finance, legal/compliance, operations, strategic planning, product/brand management, administration and managing suppliers
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of automotive F&I industry preferred
- Familiarity with underwriting, actuarial, claims administration, pricing/rating, reinsurance and other insurance operating concepts preferred
- Experience with audit and regulatory compliance
- Thorough computer knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; knowledge required
- Senior level management experience
- Req: Greater than 10 years experience in Business Operations, Customer Operations, Sales and Contract Management
- Pref: Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline Required: Master’s Degree (MBA in business administration / management) Preferred
