As a Banking Center Manager, you will lead a team, drive business development, and foster community relationships while ensuring operational excellence and exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Manage branch staff, including daily supervision, hiring, training, performance appraisals, career development, promotions, pay recommendations, and separations.
  • Lead daily huddles to support relationship-building activities among associates.
  • Generate growth by retaining, growing, and attracting clients to support the bank’s goals.
  • Cultivate professional relationships with customers, assess needs, make recommendations, and submit referrals to team members or business partners.
  • Engage in community activities to enhance Bank branding, name recognition, and business development efforts.
  • Model and coach daily activities such as opportunity spotting, client relationship building, account opening, lending, and outbound business development.
  • Facilitate and process account transactions accurately to minimize errors and reduce fraud.
  • Manage day-to-day operations, executing strategic and tactical plans to ensure operational performance and effective audit results.
  • Proactively resolve client concerns in a timely, professional, and positive manner.
  • Maintain accountability for banking center security and ensure compliance with the bank’s security program, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure regular communication with team members and regional leadership.
  • Conduct documented coaching sessions to drive continuous improvement and team engagement.
  • Identify and recruit talent to build a highly effective team.
  • Model and champion the Bank’s standards for exceptional customer service.
  • Embrace, support, and model the bank’s values and mission with enthusiasm.
  • Demonstrate integrity, trustworthiness, and professionalism at all times.
  • Exercise discretion and judgment in performing essential job functions.
  • Complete all required training in a timely manner.
  • Maintain good punctuality and attendance.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management standards.
  • Adhere to all Bank policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or commensurate work experience.
  • 2+ years of retail client service and/or business development experience.
  • 1+ year of business development management/leadership experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven achievement of business growth goals and financial targets.
  • Experience managing, leading, and coaching professionals.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of bank products/services and regulations.
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
  • NMLS certification or successful completion of the NMLS process within 30 days of hire.
