Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and avionics systems.
- Interpret and perform work in accordance with the General Maintenance Manual (GMM), SOP Manual, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Utilize Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to document work and communicate effectively.
- Able to work on days, nights, weekends, and be on-call 24 hours a day during the scheduled duty period assigned.
Requirements
- Valid FAA Airframe Mechanic or Repairman Certificate, or qualifying experience to obtain certification within 12 months of hire.
- Three (3) years of field maintenance experience maintaining avionics systems in modern complex Fixed Wing and/or Rotorcraft operated under an air carrier (14 CFR Part 135) certificate.
- Valid State issued Driver's license.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Documented experience performing avionics systems installations in modern complex aircraft.
- Computer skills to include a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Must be acceptable in accordance with the FAA drug and alcohol testing program.
- Must be able to push and/or pull 100+ lbs.
- Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications
- Valid Airframe Mechanic certificate.
- Valid Repairmen’s certificate or have held one in the past 5 years.
- Three (3) years Fixed Wing and / or Rotorcraft avionics field maintenance experience with an EMS operator.
- Three (3) years of experience maintaining aircraft avionics systems working as a repairman for a 14 CFR 145 Certified Repair Station.
- Three (3) years of experience maintaining aircraft systems and / or avionics systems on Beechcraft, Cessna, Pilatus, and Airbus Helicopters.

- Ability and willingness to work on days, nights, weekends, and be on-call 24 hours a day during the scheduled duty period assigned.
Benefits
This position offers a starting salary of $94,597 - $137,122 annually (including 45% geo modifier) and a sign-on bonus of $12,500. Please note that this position is offered for an Avionics Technician who supports EMS operating / maintenance bases configured with state-of-the-art avionics and EMS medical equipment installed in Fixed Wing and Rotor aircraft. This role requires independent completion of technical and administrative tasks with minimal supervision.
