Responsibilities
- Source and procure aviation parts, tools, and consumables for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance
- Manage vendor relationships, compare pricing, and ensure timely delivery of critical components
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory audits
- Track shipments, process purchase orders, and resolve delays or discrepancies
- Collaborate closely with maintenance technicians and operations leaders to anticipate needs
- Ensure all parts are certified, documented, and compliant with FAA and company standards
- Monitor stock levels and recommend reorders or alternative sourcing when necessary
- Support maintenance planning through proactive procurement and logistics coordination
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience in aviation parts management, materials, or maintenance logistics within a Part 135 or Part 145 environment.
- Strong working knowledge of aircraft components, documentation requirements, and FAA certification/traceability standards (including 8130-3, PMA, and repair/overhaul documentation).
- Proficiency with aviation maintenance and inventory systems (e.g., Corridor, Quantum, Traxxall, CAMP, or equivalent ERP/MRO software).
- Demonstrated experience in vendor management, negotiation, and inventory optimization in a regulated, safety-critical operation.
- High level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple time-sensitive priorities in a fast-paced, structured maintenance environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with technicians, operations, finance, and external suppliers.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in aviation, supply chain, or related field preferred.
