Aviation Mechanic Apprentice

Momentum Aeronautics is seeking a motivated Aviation Mechanic Apprentice to join our growing team. This is an entry-level opportunity for an individual looking to build a career in aviation maintenance. As a member of our Assembly team, you will gain hands-on experience in aircraft modification, maintenance, and repair while learning to work in accordance with FAA regulations and industry standards. Responsibilities Assist in the modification, maintenance, and repair of aircraft under direct supervision, including basic inspection, testing, and troubleshooting tasksSupport the maintenance team in completing work efficiently and to the highest standardsAssist in maintaining accurate maintenance records, including parts used, labor hours, and costsWork alongside the Quality Control team to ensure all work complies with FAA regulations and standardsFollow all safety procedures and participate in safety trainingCoordinate with team members and other departments as directed to support timely and effective completion of maintenance and repair work Requirements Aviation enthusiasts, students, and A&Ps encouraged to applyAbility to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics a plusStrong attention to detail and willingness to learnGood communication skills and ability to work well in a team environmentFlexibility to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays when required This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
