Qualifications/Requirements
- Legal right to work in, and travel freely in and out of, the United States
- Must possess a minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Legally operate company vehicles and equipment with no restrictions
- Must be able to provide your own tools
- DOT required pre-employment drug test
- TSA required fingerprint check for Criminal History Records Check
- Must be able to work any shift
- Must be able to read and converse fluently in English
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Able to stand for extended periods of time
- Able to climb stairs, ladders, and work platforms
- Able to kneel, bend, and sit
Key Responsibilities
- Hands-On Experience: Assist licensed aircraft mechanics with inspecting, servicing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing aircraft engines, auxiliary power units, landing gear, flight controls, avionics, and other airframe components.
- Learning and Development: Gain invaluable knowledge and skills through a structured apprenticeship program, designed to prepare you for the FAA examinations required to obtain an Airframe & Powerplant license.
- Mentorship: Work under the direct supervision of experienced Licensed Airframe & Powerplant Technicians who will guide and mentor you every step of the way, ensuring you meet all FAA regulations and standards.
- Variated Duties: Engage in a wide range of tasks, tailored to your level of experience, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience.
- Classroom and On-the-Job Training: Benefit from a blend of classroom instruction and hands-on, on-the-job training (OJT) that will equip you with the expertise needed for a successful career in aircraft maintenance.
