About the role
The role of Aviation Instructor at Everglades University is designed to provide high-quality aviation education to students. The instructor will be responsible for teaching various aviation courses and ensuring that students meet the necessary academic standards.
Responsibilities
- Teach aviation courses including but not limited to aviation theory, flight operations, and aviation safety.
- Develop and maintain course materials and lesson plans.
- Mentor and guide students to achieve their academic goals.
- Participate in departmental meetings and professional development activities.
- Assist in the recruitment and orientation of new students.
Requirements
- A minimum of a Master’s degree in Aviation Education or a related field from an accredited institution.
- At least three years of teaching experience in aviation education.
- Valid commercial pilot license with multi-engine rating.
- Experience in flight instruction and aviation safety.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Strong commitment to aviation education and safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Skills
- Effective communication skills.
