About the role

The role of Aviation Instructor at Everglades University is designed to provide high-quality instruction in aviation subjects to students enrolled in various programs.

Responsibilities

• Teach aviation courses including but not limited to aircraft systems, flight operations, and aviation law.
• Develop and maintain course materials and syllabi.
• Assess student progress and provide feedback through regular evaluations.
• Participate in departmental meetings and professional development activities.

Requirements

• A minimum of a Master’s degree in Aviation Education or a related field from an accredited institution.
• At least three years of teaching experience at the college level.
• Valid commercial pilot license with multi-engine rating.
• Experience in flight training and knowledge of FAA regulations.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
