About the role
The role of Aviation Instructor at Everglades University is designed to provide high-quality instruction in aviation subjects to students enrolled in various programs.
Responsibilities
- Teach aviation courses including but not limited to aircraft systems, flight operations, and aviation law.
- Develop and maintain course materials and syllabi.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback through regular evaluations.
- Participate in departmental meetings and professional development activities.
Requirements
- A minimum of a Master’s degree in Aviation Education or a related field from an accredited institution.
- At least three years of teaching experience at the college level.
- Valid commercial pilot license with multi-engine rating.
- Experience in flight training and knowledge of FAA regulations.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
