Responsibilities
- Prepare analysis reports in support of airport planning, design, and construction
- Manage project tasks, project design and permitting, construction coordination, and coordinate work with other team members
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to contribute to the successful completion of assigned projects
- Maintain high-quality sets of plans and check the work of others
- Affiliate in monitoring project progress, budgets, and schedules
Qualifications
- 4+ years of aviation engineering design experience
- Professional Engineering (P.E.) License (or ability to obtain within 12 months)
- Familiarity with contract document preparation and cost estimating
- Familiarity with FAA Advisory Circular’s and Engineering Briefs
- Familiarity with pavement design and FAAR Field Design Software
- Strong desire and passion to be engaged with clients solving project problems and working with the team to deliver
- Strong AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or MicroStation experience
- Ability to work in a team; both collaborating with and mentoring junior staff
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines
