Join a fast-paced Workplace Technology team supporting conference rooms, live events, and hybrid collaboration spaces across a dynamic office environment. This role is ideal for an AV professional who enjoys hands-on troubleshooting, room builds, event production, and helping people have seamless meeting experiences.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily checks of conference rooms to identify and resolve AV issues before meetings begin
- Support employees with in-room and remote meeting technology, including Google Meet, displays, cameras, audio, and projection systems
- Troubleshoot and maintain room kits, room schedulers, scheduling displays, and related AV hardware and software
- Provide support for Logitech Rally products and Neat Bar Pro systems across meeting spaces
- Respond to support requests from the IT helpdesk and assist with diagnosing and resolving room-related issues
- Set up, install, configure, and test new conference rooms, including cabling, mounting, and hardware provisioning
- Support audio systems such as DSPs, mixers, microphones, and speakers to ensure clear and reliable sound
- Assist with live event production for all-hands meetings, town halls, and other streamed events
- Operate event AV equipment such as Q-SYS systems, streaming encoders, switchers, and audio consoles
- Conduct pre-event checks, monitor live productions, and help resolve issues during events
- Create and maintain documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles for room and event systems
- Track AV inventory, coordinate with vendors, and help maintain equipment, updates, and spares
Skills
- 5+ years of experience in IT or AV support with a focus on conference rooms or meeting spaces
- Hands-on experience with Google Meet hardware and software in both meeting room and event settings
- Experience supporting Logitech Rally equipment, Neat Bar Pro, and scheduling displays
- Ability to install and troubleshoot conference rooms from the ground up
- Experience with live event AV workflows, including video switching, audio mixing, and streaming/recording
- Working knowledge of Q-SYS or similar audio DSP/control platforms
- Comfort supporting live, in-use systems while staying calm and solution-focused
- Basic to intermediate networking knowledge, including switches, Wi-Fi, servers, and AV-over-IP fundamentals
- Experience supporting Apple devices in an enterprise environment
- Experience managing Windows laptops and desktops
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and enterprise support workflows
- Strong communication skills and a service-oriented approach
- Ability to lift and move equipment weighing 50+ lbs as needed
Preferred Skills
- AVIXA CTS certification or progress toward certification
- Experience with additional conferencing ecosystems such as Poly, Yealink, or Crestron
- Exposure to control system programming or configuration
- Experience with other audio DSP platforms such as Biamp or Extron
- Background in event or broadcast AV support for corporate events or streamed productions
- Ability to read signal flow diagrams and AV schematics
- Experience with low-voltage wiring, rack builds, and AV cabling work
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent hands-on experience
