Responsibilities
- The AV Specialist will be the first point of contact to resolve AV support requests submitted through the corporate ticketing system
- Work under the guidance of the AV Manager and IT Program Manager to implement and maintain secure AV solutions
- Lead less complex installation and repair efforts that can be performed with support of SPA’s End User Support Team
- Maintain room documentation to include user guides, service records and equipment/material inventories
- Perform preventative maintenance and spot checks of conference room AV systems
Qualifications
- US citizenship, and eligibility to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance are required
- Experience operating and troubleshooting fully integrated VTC systems, including video distribution systems with various degrees of complexity
- Familiarity configuring AV equipment via Crestron Toolbox and/or QSYS Designer
- Experience with direct end-user and/or customer support troubleshooting QSYS and Crestron AV systems
- Ability to regularly lift heavy equipment or materials (up to 50lbs)
- A high school diploma
Desired Qualifications
- Manufacturer certifications from Crestron, QSC, Extron, Biamp or Shure
- Experience configuring USB bridging to AV systems for use with soft-codec conferencing applications (e.g. MS Teams or Zoom)
- Experience troubleshooting audio issues in QSYS or TesiraForte
Pay
Virginia, Pay Transparency Salary range: USD $24.00/Hr. - USD $36.00/Yr.
