AV Service Technician
About the role
The primary responsibility of this role is to enhance the human experience through smart spaces by providing exceptional service to clients. This includes managing all aspects of support, collaborating on problem-solving, and interacting with clients, builders, and other industry professionals.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, floor plans, specifications, and operational/product manuals.
- Manage all aspects of support including end-user training, troubleshooting, and follow through on escalation of issues.
- Collaborate on problem-solving in both installation standards and provide challenges and successes during weekly team meetings.
- Travels to various job sites; uses hand and power tools safely; maintains company-issued tools, equipment, and vehicle.
- In addition to clients, interact with builders and other industry professionals.
- Communicate every day with the project manager about the progress of the project.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of AV/Networking /Technology Integration Experience.
- Control4 Certification.
- Motivated to learn new technologies and processes.
- Exhibits strong management and leadership skills; capable of leading and motivating others.
- Can pass a drug screen and background check.
- Possess a valid California driver’s license and access to a reliable, insured motor vehicle.
- Able to independently lift items up to 50 pounds.
- Capable of sitting, standing, and kneeling for extended periods of time.

Pay
Competitive compensation based on experience and skillset.
Schedule
We offer a flexible alternative workweek schedule of four 10-hour days. May be required to work overtime.
