Automotive Used Car Manager/Buyer

Responsibilities

• Sources and acquires used vehicles through trades, direct purchases, auctions, and internal prospecting
• Appraises vehicles accurately and competitively
• Manages pricing, merchandising, and inventory turn
• Works with customers on appraisals, purchases, and deal structuring
• Trains, mentors, and holds sales staff accountable to dealership processes
• Utilizes DMS and CRM systems to prospect for trade, equity, and purchase opportunities
• PARTners with Sales and F&I to maximize profitability and compliance

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Used Car Manager and Buyer
• Strong appraisal and inventory management skills
• Finance & Insurance experience is a plus
• Ability and willingness to deliver vehicles when needed
• Process-oriented with strong follow-up and organizational skills
• Comfortable working directly with customers
• Working knowledge of dealership DMS, CRM, and lead management platforms
• Proven ability to coach, train, and lead sales professionals
