About the Role
The Automotive Technician performs a variety of vehicle service tasks in a busy Service Center, ensuring high-quality repairs and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
- Perform tire repairs, installations, and wheel balancing
- Install batteries, head lamps, and basic automotive parts
- Conduct oil changes, brake repairs, and repair starting/charging systems
- Work on steering, suspension, shocks/struts, and alignments
- Install trailer hitches and wiring, and perform other assigned duties with on-the-job training
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass drug screening and background checks
- Strong communication skills and ability to work evenings and every other weekend
- Ability to read/speak English and engage effectively with customers and team members
- Prior auto repair experience preferred; certifications such as ASE A4, A6, A3, A5 are required for certain levels
- Must be 18 or older
