Maintenance Technician 3

Responsibilities

• Lead complex maintenance and repair tasks on CNC machinery and facility systems.
• Diagnose and resolve advanced mechanical issues using expert-level troubleshooting techniques.
• Fabricate custom parts and perform high-precision repairs using advanced tools and welding equipment.
• Oversee preventative maintenance programs and ensure compliance with schedules and documentation.
• Manage inventory systems and coordinate ordering of tools, parts, and supplies.
• Operate and troubleshoot facility control systems and utility monitoring software.
• Respond to critical maintenance issues and coordinate emergency repairs.
• Perform and oversee general facility maintenance and ensure building systems are functioning properly.
• Enforce safety standards and mentor junior technicians on best practices.
• Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and engineering teams as needed.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive maintenance experience, including leadership or mentoring responsibilities.
• Advanced knowledge of CNC systems, mechanical diagnostics, and fabrication.
• Possess advanced knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical concepts.
• Leads complex repairs and emergency response efforts.
• Skilled in welding, machining, and custom part fabrication.
• Oversees preventative maintenance programs and inventory management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (required).
• Aceociate degree in Industrial Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related field is highly preferred.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of formal degrees or certifications.

Skills

• Advanced knowledge of CNC systems, mechanical diagnostics, and fabrication.
• Possess advanced knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical concepts.
• Skilled in welding, machining, and custom part fabrication.
• Leadership and mentoring experience.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve advanced mechanical issues.
• Overseeing preventative maintenance programs and inventory management.
