Automotive Service Manager

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Service Manager to join our Service team. Toyota of Greensboro in beautiful Greensboro, NC is the 1st Toyota Dealership ever established in the Southeastern United States in 1965. Responsibilities
- Forecasts goals and objectives for the department and strives to meet them
- Hires, trains, motivates, counsels, and monitors the performance of all service department staff
- Prepares and administers an annual operating budget for the service department
- Maintains reporting systems required by general management and the factory
- Attends managers meetings
- Makes sure the daily inventory of technicians' time is consistently sold to service customers
- Makes sure the work areas and customer waiting area are kept clean
- Serves as liaison with factory representatives
- Ensures the proper care, storage, and inventory of special tools
- Ensures that customers' service files are up-to-date and readily available for reference
- Serves as a point of contact for customers, handling complaints and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Maintains a professional appearance
Requirements
- Five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Organized and friendly personality
- Dealership experience is preferred
- Knowledge of dealership drive lane
- Demonstrated ability to manage others
- Valid in-state driver's license and automobile insurance
- Clean driving record
