About the role
We are seeking a polished, dependable, and hands-on professional to serve as our Automotive Service Drive Greeter & Valet Team Lead. This individual will shape the customer's first and last impression of our service department, ensuring a luxury automotive dealership experience.
Responsibilities
- Immediately welcome arriving customers and connect them with the appropriate service advisor.
- Maintain an organized flow of vehicles in the service drive.
- Provide daily direction to the valet team, including assignments and coverage.
- Conduct brief morning huddles to align the team.
- Monitor vehicle parking, retrieval, and key control.
- Coordinate staging of completed vehicles.
- Communicate with service advisors regarding customers, vehicle locations, delays, and special requests.
- Monitor valet attendance, punctuality, appearance, break coverage, and professional conduct.
- Assist with training new employees.
- Maintain the appearance of the service drive and valet station.
- Immediately report vehicle damage, missing keys, customer complaints, accidents, or safety concerns.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an automotive dealership, hospitality, valet, concierge, or customer-facing leadership role is preferred.
- Strong leadership, organization, communication, and customer-service skills.
- Valid driver's license with a driving record acceptable under dealership guidelines.
- Comfortable safely operating different types of vehicles, including large trucks and SUVs.
- Dependable attendance, punctuality, and professional grooming.
- Able to remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable standing, walking, and working outdoors for extended periods.
- Bilingual English and Spanish communication skills are strongly preferred.
