Automotive Service Advisor/Writer
About the role
We are seeking a conscientious, people-oriented Service Advisor who can deliver first-class customer service and help foster a positive team atmosphere. Prior Ford and Reynolds & Reynolds experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and clearly report all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer
- Determine and recommend needed maintenance based on age, mileage, and vehicle history
- Prepare complete and accurate estimates of cost for labor and parts
- Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, updating customers frequently
- Verify that the final invoice reconciles with work performed on the repair order
- Explain all completed work and charges to customers
Qualifications
- Ability to work hard with limited supervision
- Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
- Knowledge of automobiles
- Positive attitude
- High volume mentality
Pay
Compensation/Benefits: Pay structure based on total shop production and individual productivity - estimated compensation is $100k-$120k. Medical and dental coverage offered and partially funded by George Wall Ford. 401k with employer matching available. Paid time off as well as earned vacation time based on tenure.
